Jefferson County Watermelon Festival

Join us for the 72nd Annual Watermelon Festival, a summertime tradition in Monticello since 1949. Our 2022 festival was one for the record books and we are planning bigger and better things for 2023. From pageants to parades, bed races and barbeque, this event offers small town fun for the entire family.
