The NightGarden Returns to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden This Winter With Enhanced Interactive Elements
After its wildly popular launch in 2018, The NightGarden, presented by Kilburn Live, is pleased to announce its return to Miami with exciting plans for its second edition. The limited-time event, taking place at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, will feature an impressive roster of new activations expanding upon the magic and wonder of its inaugural edition. This year, locals, visitors and guests of all ages can journey through an innovative augmented reality fairy quest challenge, experience even more awe-inspiring lighting displays, advanced special effects, state-of-the-art outdoor holograms, shadow sculptures and even snowfall in Miami, amongst other unbelievable surprises around every corner. The experience opens to the public on Nov. 15 and runs through Jan. 11, 2020.
The NightGarden is an immersive night attraction that blends innovation and entertainment, unique photo-worthy moments, a variety of local food options and fun for all through a stunning experience created by leading sculptors and designers. The captivating new experience will boast a variety of highly interactive landscapes augmented by spectacular 360-degree lighting, illusions and special effects.
Standout additions this year include Fairchild’s Vine Pergola, brought to life by an interactive canopy light display; an experiential maze, where guests can lose themselves in thousands of technicolor flowers; the digital Fairy Quest application, a downloadable mobile app for use during an exciting scavenger hunt challenge for cash prizes; The NightGarden’s Shadow Sculptures, which allow guests to feed their imagination and create unique kaleidoscopes of shadows and light; and a magical snowfall experience, where children can frolic and play in a flurry of snow, truly setting the tone for the holiday season. Returning favorites from last year include “Archimedes,” the dazzling talking tree, the growing dandelion field, a more challenging lost fairy puzzle with a cash prize of $2,500, and the popular New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular.
