1. Leroy Collins Library, Tallahassee, FL

2. Gulf Gate Library, Sarasota, FL

This award-winning library has also been touted as Florida’s most beautiful library. This almost-new facility is an inviting place for kids, teens, and adults alike, with gaming consoles, big screen TVs, and plenty of lounges and quiet spaces. They also offer a variety of free programs for all ages, along with meeting rooms, computers, and other amenities.

3. Niceville Public Library, Niceville, FL

This library is a standout thanks to its variety of free resources, including dvds, books, and free children’s programs, including reading programs and family movie nights. If you’re looking for a full day of activities for the family, follow up your visit to the library with a stop at the next door playground and splash pad. The kids will be begging you to take them again and again.

4. Bay County Public Library, Panama City Beach, FL

They offer an inter-library loan to help you get the books you need, even if they don’t have them on-site. Part of the West Florida Public Library system, this branch is a favorite for its STEAM programs to keep kids learning all summer long. Hands-on educational activities are offered free to every young patron, including MineCraft, Lego, and coding lessons, music activities, and more. Their Jazz Room is a massive collection of books, movies, and CDs that explore the history of Jazz, and is not to be missed. 

6. Hudson Regional Library, Hudson, FL
