Women's History Month honors the many contributions of women to U.S. history. This year's theme, "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories,” recognizes women, past and present, who have been active in all forms of media and storytelling. The Broward County Commission on the Status of Women celebrates by honoring 12 Broward County women who are life-changing leaders contributing to the social, economic and political history of our community.
