Spring Ahead and Remember to Check Your Smoke Detectors

As we set our clocks ahead and "spring forward" for Daylight Savings Time at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, the WPB Fire Department recommends testing your smoke alarms to reduce the level of risk to life, property, and our community.

The second annual West Palm Beach Police Awards, sponsored by the non-profit 'The Fund for West Palm Beach Police', honors police and civilian employees for outstanding service.

March 2023 is Florida Bicycle Month

The City of WPB has been working diligently on mobility and sustainability efforts to encourage residents to make an impact on the environment where they reside through biking. Because of these efforts, Mayor Keith A. James proclaimed the month of March 2023 as Florida Bicycle month at the City Commissioners meeting on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Spring Training Brings Jobs to West Palm Beach

Spring Training is now underway at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. With it comes seasonal jobs and baseball-loving tourists.

IMPORTANT ALERT:

Smoke Testing Sewers on Franklin Road

The City will be smoke testing the sewers on the 400 to 500 block of Franklin Road from Monday, March 13 to Friday March 31, 2023, between 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This test is performed periodically to locate sources of sewer odors, leaks and pinpoint potential breaks in sewer lines. Please be aware.

Apply Today: Summer Camp Scholarship Program

The City's Parks and Recreation Department invites residents to apply for Palm Beach County’s Summer Camp Scholarship Program. These scholarships can be applied to the City's summer camp programs. Applications will be accepted through April 14, or until funds run out.
