Celebrating Black History Month

Black History Month honors the contributions made by African Americans and Black individuals in their struggle for freedom and equality. Residents who identify as Black or African American account for 34.4% of the City's population, according to the 2020 U.S. Census.

Utilities Workers Honored for Saving Man's Life

During his annual State of the City address, Mayor Keith James recognized six public utilities workers who were in the right place at the right time. While the team's focus is to maintain the integrity of the City's utilities installations, one family in particular will never forget their heroic actions.

Mayor Keith James Delivers 2023 State of the City Address

Durig the most recent meeting of the Chamber of the Commerce of the Palm Beaches' monthly breakfast series, Mayor Keith James gave his annual State of the City speech. He shared updates regarding public safety, economic development, neighborhood investments, outstanding challenges and what to expect during his next term as mayor.

Apply Today: Summer Camp Scholarship Program

The City's Parks and Recreation Department invites residents to apply for Palm Beach County’s Summer Camp Scholarship Program. These scholarships can be applied to the City's summer camp programs. Applications will be accepted through April 14.

Free Tree Giveaway on 2/24

Help us reach our goal of planting 10,000 trees by 2025! This program, an initiative of the City's Office of Sustainability, reflects our partnership with residents and businesses to beautify our neighborhoods, sustain the health of existing trees, and increase the city's shade canopy. Tree registration form is required.

Presidents Day Closures

City Hall and the Mandel Public Library will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 in observance of Presidents Day. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m., and the library will reopen at 9:30 a.m. Regular trash services will be provided.
