Sowell's North Pole Christmas Lights Display

Nov. 26 to Dec. 26, 5:30 to 9 p.m. | 7650 Sowell Rd. in Milton

Sowell’s North Pole Christmas Light Display (drive-through and/or park) is an annual Christmas light show put on by the Sowell family. The event will be open every night including Christmas Eve and Christmas night. Admission fee required; prices vary each night. Exploring Escribano: History and Ecology Kayak Tour

Fri., Dec. 2, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Escribano Point Bayou Campground, Choctaw Field Road in Milton

Join Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) to discover ecology and history on one of Florida's most beautiful bays! This tour will last approximately two hours; participants will be traveling at a leisurely pace approximately two miles along Escribano Point in a loop on Blackwater Bay. Tour participants will meet at 9:30 a.m. for a safety briefing and an introduction before setting out on the water. Although kayaks are recommended for this tour, any non-motorized watercraft is welcome (canoes, stand-up paddle boards, etc.). All participants are required to bring their own watercraft. Additional recommended gear should include sun protection, water, and snacks (if desired). Participants will be asked to fill out a liability waiver on-site in order to participate in the tour.

- This tour is offered for free, but cash donations at the end of the tour are much appreciated and help continue in offering other amazing learning opportunities!
- This tour is recommended for ages 13+; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Light Up Milton

Fri., Dec. 2, 5 to 8 p.m. | Downtown Milton

Come and join City of Milton in celebrating the holiday season as they light up the city for the first time this year! Santa will be in attendance at the South Riverwalk Pavilion between 5 and 8 p.m. to meet with kids and hand out treats provided by the Blackwater Pyrates. The tree lighting ceremony will take place next to the Imogene Theater at 5:30 p.m. There will be a lighted boat parade presented by the Blackwater Pyrates at 6 p.m. Fireworks will take place immediately following the conclusion of the lighted boat parade. Food trucks will be at Jernigan's Landing and a winter marketplace featuring craft vendors at the event area just across the street. The winter market will be coordinated by the organizers of The Market of Pace.

Navarre Chamber Foundation's Jingle Bell Run

Sat., Dec. 3, 8 a.m. | 8618 Esplanade St. in Navarre

The Navarre Chamber Foundation's Jingle Bell Run is a running race in Navarre, Florida consisting of a one-mile and 5K. Navarre Chamber Foundation will help start your holiday season with bells on with this family fun run through the local neighborhood. Start and finish at main fire station. Any distance, run, walk, or crawl. Shortcuts to grandma's house! Strollers and leashed pets are welcome. This is a non-scored event and has the best long sleeve t-shirts you will find! Feel free to dress for the holiday spirit! 

Merry Market at Christmas in the Park

A local tradition since 1994, Christmas in the Park ushers in the holiday season in the Navarre area with a day full of fun activities including the "Merry Market" - where local artists and crafters will gather with great gift ideas for everyone on your list. 

Annual Navarre Community Christmas Parade

Sat., Dec. 3, 12 p.m.

The Annual Navarre Community Christmas Parade - Presented by: PrimeLending will start at noon at the Navarre Library and will roll south along Presidio, making a left at Esplanade Street and ending in the back parking lot of Centennial Bank. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by fire truck in the parade and will be available for photos with children in Navarre Park as soon as the parade ends. Visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus are free and parents are invited to bring their cameras for photos. Free baked goods and beverages will be available at Mrs. Claus’ Bakery - sponsored by: Okaloosa Gas District. Live entertainment, featuring local schools and choirs from the local area, will continue throughout the event. Santa's workshop will be open where children can participate in a holiday craft project. 

A Very Merry Pirate Christmas Parade

Sat., Dec. 3, 6 p.m.

Join the City of Milton and the Krewe of Airship Pirates for the 2022 "A Very Merry Pirate Christmas" parade! The parade will begin at the Clyde L. Gracey (Milton) Community Center on Byrom Street, head north to James Street, east on James Street to Stewart Street, and south on Stewart Street ending at Elva Street. 

Classic Cars of Navarre Cruise-In

Dec. 9, 6 p.m. | 8543 Navarre Pkwy. in Navarre

2022 Sea Turtle Soiree

Dec. 9, 5 to 9 p.m. | 1 St. Francis Dr. in Gulf Breeze

NBSTCC’s Sea Turtle Soirée is a fun and exciting charity fundraising event that will be held on Dec. 9 at the St. Francis of Assisi Event Hall. This will be the third time the NBSTCC has hosted an evening-style event offering good eats, drinks and charitable giving. Guests will enjoy an evening of music and dancing, several raffles, dinner, desserts and drinks as well as lots more fun to be announced. Attire for this event is beach fun formal. The main event at the Sea Turtle Soirée is a silent auction featuring different items from local artisans and small businesses. Items include an array of original artwork in various mediums, gift certifications to entertainment attractions, fine jewelry and more. Proceeds raised from this event will be invested directly in our mission, “Giving sea turtles more tomorrows through conservation, education, and research.” 

Christmas ZOObilee at the Gulf Breeze Zoo

Christmas ZOObilee includes winter-themed bounce stations, live music and entertainment, a candy cane market full of gifts, sights, smells, and tastes of the season, including unique gifts from local artists and delicious holiday treats. Fun for the entire family, Christmas ZOObilee wouldn't be complete without a visit from the jolly man in a red suit. Weekends with Santa is the perfect opportunity to hand-deliver last-minute Christmas letters while snapping a treasured photo with Saint Nick in his sleigh. Santa is Coming to the Pier!

Families are welcome to take photos with Santa and hand deliver wish lists. The restaurant will be accepting donations and supplies that will be delivered to Santa Rosa Kids’ House. 

3rd Annual One-Z party at Juanas

The annual onesie party is back at Juanas! Grab your friends and put on your favorite onesie to come party! Everyone is invited. The night will include a DJ, fun games and Blue Chair Bay rum drink specials for people in a onesie. Best part is...the event is free. Just wear your favorite onesie and hang out for a guaranteed good night! 

Trash Bash with the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Dec., 18, 8 to 10 a.m. | 8649 Gulf Blvd. on Navarre Beach

Help protect sea turtles and other imperiled species through a citizen-science program that allows volunteers to take an active role in the war against marine debris. Volunteers collect trash from different areas along the 4.5 miles of Navarre Beach and record data that is forwarded to state and federal agencies. Meet in the main Navarre Beach parking lot near the Sand Crab Pavilion. A limited supply of gloves, buckets and pickers are provided, or bring your own. Santa Claus is Coming to the Sound!

A holiday meet and greet with Santa himself! Santa Claus will be at Dewey Destin’s in Navarre to hear your child’s wishes and to take photos with your personal cameras. Dewey Destin's will be accepting monetary donations to help aid in purchasing lunches for Navarre/Gulf Breeze K-12 kids.
