On Saturday, February 4, 2023, come find your furry Valentine during the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department’s (Animal Services) Find the Love of Your Life pet adoptions celebration. From noon to 10 p.m., Animal Services’ Pet Adoption and Protection Center will host a family friendly festival with extended hours, music, games, food trucks, giveaways and pet adoptions.
From February 4 to February 14, adoption fees will be waived for pets four months and older. Adopters are responsible for the $30 dog licensing fee. Fees will be $85 for puppies and $35 for kittens. All pet adoptions include the first set of age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, deworming and spay/neuter surgery.
Adoption hours at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit Animal Services' Contact Us for off-site adoption events and locations.
