Pembroke Pines (March 8, 2023) -- The City of Pembroke Pines invites Pembroke Pines residents to nominate a special woman in their life who personifies the vital role women play, not only in American history, but in our everyday lives – our SHEroes. Residents interested in making a nomination can explain in no more than 300 words why she is a SHEro. To submit, residents can email pinesmedia@ppines.com by March 31st at 9:00 p.m.

As part of March’s Women’s History Month the City of Pembroke Pines would like to shine light on and give praise to these amazing women. All entries will be read and women nominated will be honored at an April City Commission Meeting. There are heroes all around us -- SHEroes – the women doctors, teachers, police officers, firefighters, nurses, moms and soldiers. The City of Pembroke Pines asks residents to help recognize their efforts, courage and strengths.
