Town Council to Appoint Member(s) to the Investment Advisory Committee

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint three (3) members to the Investment Advisory Committee. Currently, there is one (1) member whose term will expire on April 1, 2023, and two (2) members whose terms will expire on May 1, 2023. All three (3) members are eligible to apply for additional terms.

The Investment Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity and shall make recommendations to the Town Council in matters relating to the town’s investment policy and the investment of the Town’s surplus funds. The Committee is comprised of five members, who shall be residents of the town. Members are appointed based on their prior fixed-income investment experience. The Town of Palm Beach will not do business directly or indirectly with a committee member and for at least two years after the member’s term has expired.

All citizens interested in pursuing an appointment to the Investment Advisory Committee must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office by Friday, April 28, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.  The appointments to the Investment Advisory Committee will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
