One of Broward County’s hidden jewels is the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex in the SportsPlex. The Aquatic Complex is a premier swimming and diving facility. Opened in 1989, the Aquatic Complex serves the needs of the beginning swimmer or the more advanced competitor. This world-class facility also hosts many swim and dive events as well as traditional training classes. Visitors to the Complex are sure to make a splash in the 50-meter and 25-meter competition pools with a heating and cooling system, a diving well equipped for spring board and platform diving and an acclimation pool. The Aquatic Complex also features a 5,000-aquare-foot Fitness Center armed with body master and circuit training equipment, free weights and state of the art cardiovascular machines.
