Orlando Fashion Square, in the heart of the city, opened its doors in July 1973, enduring through the decades as the region's longest-standing enclosed mall.

The mall was ideally located next to the two-floor Sears store, a shopping destination for 10 years near growing family neighborhoods as well as the historic Naval Training Center that has since been transformed to the vibrant Baldwin Park. Orlando Fashion Square is engrained in Orlando's history but even more so in the lives of the Central Floridians it has the pleasure to serve.

Here, generations of local shoppers have bought their first suits and prom dresses, picked out wedding rings and found new pairs of school shoes for their kids. Families create holiday memories at picture time with Santa. Neighborhood children find a safe place to go trick-or-treating every Halloween. The mall is the place for active retirees to walk and talk, combining fitness with friendships. Scores of local teenagers still find their first jobs here and for many, plan a first date at the movies.
