Celebrating National Dog Month

Did you know that Oldsmar offers two dog parks for its four-legged residents? These gated areas provide plenty of room to run, do zoomies, roll in the grass, try out some new routes & more? The park are located at the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve & Sheffield Park to enjoy & explore after a 'ruff' day!

BASIC DOG MANNERS

RETURNING IN SEPTEMBER

Train your furry best friend!

Basic Manners uses reward based, positive reinforcement methods taught by a Certified Professional Trainer; including sit, stay, leave it, polite greetings, walk on a leash & more! Class concludes with Brain games & enrichment with graduates showing off their new tricks. Suitable for all breeds one year of age and older. Proof of vaccines required. No Pinch, prong, flexi leads, or choke collars are permitted.

Wednesdays, 5:30 – 6:30 pm.

STAR PUPPY TRAINING

Start your pup off on the right paw!

Earn your pups AKC STAR puppy medallion! Star Puppy Training Class is taught by an AKC evaluator and focuses on socialization, training, activities, and responsibility while building a strong bond with your furry friend. Help prevent behavior issues before they start. Open to all breeds up to one year of age. Proof of vaccines required. No Pinch, prong, flexi leads, or choke collars are permitted.

Oldsmar Park Spotlight

JANICE R. MILLER BARK PARK

423 Lafayette Blvd.

Fido can play with other canine pals off-leash at the Janice R. Miller Bark Park, located in the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve. The fenced dog park offers separate sides for small & large dogs. Watering stations are provided to help quench thirst and benches are on-site for the 'humans' to rest to watch their pups run carefree & make new friends. Park is open dawn to dusk & features many shades spots for all to stay cool!
