Summer Splash Bash

The Orange City Sorosis Club is celebrating the end of summer with the Summer Splash Bash at Valentine Park on Saturday, August 5, at Valentine Park, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will have a water slide, water guns, an obstacle course, water relay, and other games to play. Moms, Dads, Grandparents and kids are all encouraged to participate. They will have a toddler section for the little ones to splash around in too. Bring your own towels, chairs, and feel free to pack a lunch.

Coffee with a Council Member
August 17, 2023 Council Chambers 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The Orange City community is invited to attend Coffee with a Council Member; a series of monthly events aimed at giving residents an opportunity to interact with local leadership. Coffee with a Council Member will provide a unique opportunity to speak directly with elected officials and other key city staff in an informal setting. Through these conversations, residents will be able to provide feedback on city programs, ask questions, discuss issues and share ideas.
Council Member Alex Tiamson will kick off the series on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 9:00 a.m. at the Orange City Council Chambers, 201 North Holly Ave. Participants will enjoy coffee and other beverages, assorted snacks and a souvenir coffee mug.
