Collier Superintendent Vote Set for May 3, 2023

On April 26th, the District School Board of Collier County decided to schedule a Special School Board Meeting a week from now in which they will vote on the next superintendent. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, at 5pm, at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Administrative Center. The Special Board Meeting will be open to the public and will also be streamed live on the Education Channel, accessible via the District website and Channel 99 for Comcast, CenturyLink, and Summit Broadband subscribers. Today was the second round of interviews for the final two superintendent candidates: Mr. Charles E. Van Zant, Jr. and Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli.
