We have much to celebrate this Thanksgiving season with the Library having just received the 2023 Nonprofit of the Year Award for Delray Beach from the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce! This honor reflects upon all our hard-working staff and Board of Directors; all working together to give our patrons excellent and enlightening programs, digital resources, helpful learning activities, and community outreach.
We are also one week away from Giving Tuesday on November 28th, a national day of recognition to support nonprofit organizations across the country. Like everywhere in America, non-profits make our community and the world a better place. As you enjoy your time with family and friends this holiday season, please take a moment to remember the Delray Beach Public Library in your year-end giving. We exist to make life in Delray Beach the best it can be for everyone! Your tax-deductible contribution helps us continue to provide the crucial library services and programming the community has come to count on.

Calling all elves who would like to support a child for Spirit of Giving’s Annual Holiday Gift Drive. Please stop by the Library and pick up a gift tag that contains a “gift wish” for children in Palm Beach County including local non-profits the Achievement Center, Milagro, and Roots & Wings. All gifts should be dropped off at the Library or one of the other locations by December 8th.
