It has a nice long walk along the manatee river. Where you may see dolphins or manatees swimming by. It has a nice little play ground for both smaller and bigger children. And a skateboard area. And a nice sized splash pad. There is also a pier to fish off of. It is handicap accessible. And there is a nice grassy spot for picnics, aerobics, or soccer practice, no ready made goals. There are men and women restrooms.

I went a couple days ago and expected it to be as nice as usual. We were walking to the play area and everything was wet, people were throwing water bottles at each other and leaving the bottles on the floor, getting everyone wet, you never got to use anything, and worst of all there was human poop that some children were poking sticks at. We immediately left, we won’t be coming back for a while.

Not exactly what I was expecting. A nice walk along the river. Pet friendly. Playgrounds for kids. Places to exercise as you go. Interesting science fact displays, but no shopping or dining opportunities which I expected to find.

There is something for all age groups. Long walking path along with Manatee River. Multiple playgrounds, skateboard area, splash pad for kids. Lots of grassy open area for picnic, benches, and restrooms. Overall it’s a very good place to spend time with family and friends.

I really enjoy this park. There's an area with different age group play area's, a water zone, and an area for kicking balls around. The view is nice for the mom's & dad's just wanting to relax as the kids play. Great area to run or bring a book to read at one of the many seating areas. There Is also a volley ball area and a skate park. This place has a lot to offer.
