Florida Dance Theatre, A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, recognizing the importance of artistic influence on the development and growth of our children and community, strives to increase awareness and appreciation of dance as a living art form and to produce works of high artistic quality in a wide variety of styles. Florida Dance Theatre, a non-profit organization, consists of the professional dance company and training academy. The company is composed of professional dancers and apprentices who have attained a high level of proficiency, and the training academy focuses on the teaching of artistic technique from beginning to advanced levels. It is the belief of Florida Dance Theatre that through this training students achieve the mental and physical discipline necessary to succeed in dance as well as other endeavors. Our continuing purpose is to provide an enriching, unique, and superb multicultural experience for our community and beyond.
