Gulf Breeze Zoo

5701 Gulf Breeze Pkwy

The Gulf Breeze Zoo is a 50 acre facility featuring hundreds
of animals from around the world!

Experience the Zoo and animals in three different ways:

Walk around our lush Florida gardens and observe hundreds of animals, including primates, large cats, bears and colorful birds. Plan to spend time at the large petting area, the giraffe feeding station and the reptile house. Visit the Australian Free-Flight Budgiery, where colorful parakeets fly around and enjoy "budgie treat sticks" while perched on your hand!

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along our raised walkway overlooking the free range preserve; filled with rhinoceros, zebra, Africas largest antelope, wildebeest and herds of deer. Don't miss the Chimpanzees, gorillas, African Wild Dog, Ostrich and Emu.

Take a nostalgic 15 minute narrated train ride on our newly renovated CP Huntington style locomotive. Watch rhinoceros, deer, antelope, and zebras roam free on our 30 acre preserve. From the train you will get a close-up view of chimpanzees, Gorillas, and our huge Nile hippos. Train rides are $3 and run throughout the day.

Came here for my birthday and had a great time. Wish there were more food dispensaries around so we could feed the animals. My only feedback is that the train goes too fast to take good pictures. The birds exhibit in the aviary were amazing. Everyone was super nice. Great customer service.

really cool! It poured rain while we were there and it didn't slow us down any. it's a completely different type of zoo than we were used to I strongly suggest you pay a visit. Very Cool! They have a petting area for farm animals which my kids loved. they also have a feeding area for the farm animals, giraffes, and lamas. You get very close to the animals but you never feel unsafe. it was an amazing experience. The zoo keepers seemed to really love these animals.

Very nice small zoo. There are several animals that you can feed and pet, which made the experience better than a standard zoo. They also have scheduled talks about the animals by their enclosures, which was a great way to get personal info about each animal. Admission is about the same as a big city zoo, however here you get a more personal experience. It wasn't crowded and the staff was very friendly. Great break from the beach on a family vacation.

Had a great time here. I've been to the Zoo in New Orleans a few times before so I didn't expect this to be that great but it really surprised my family and I how big it really is. Animal enclosures were clean and animals looked well taken care of. I recommend taking the train ride if you can. You get to see more animals you couldn't other wise.

This zoo was fabulous! We were able to feed the giraffes, goats and budgies. The price was reasonable. Exhibits were nice we saw lots of new babies. All in all it was a great experience for the whole family.
